Camp Sierra is located at Big Creek, CA., just a short distance north of Shaver Lake in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of Central California.  It is about 60 miles east of Fresno (for a map go to Mapquest.com ).  At Camp Sierra (a commercial camp), all meals are prepared and served by the camp staff.  Campers sleep in rustic cabins on bunk beds in rooms that accommodate 2, 4, or 8 persons.  Cabins have community bathrooms that are typically “down the hall.”  Personal clothing, warm jacket, bathing suit, bedding, usually a sleeping bag and pillow, flashlight, personal toiletries, towels and washcloths are the needed basics.  Church attire will be needed for Sacrament Meeting on Sunday. Leisure and recreational activities include hiking, enjoying nature, volleyball, horseshoes, or just relaxing and visiting with friends.  In the Shaver Lake area, boating and good places for swimming or fishing can be found.  Due to the altitude, uneven ground and small hills, Camp Sierra is not recommended for those with disabilities or health problems.

$120 if paid before Sept. 3rd

$135 if paid after Sept. 3rd

A “VARIETY SHOW” will be held on Saturday night before the dance, so start working on your talent acts now!  All acts must be appropriate in their content.
